Mac Strain

The strain known as MAC, for “Miracle Alien Cookies”, was very popular, and Green Life Productions continued to use its genetics in other strains, including parent strain MAC Stomper. Although the “High” can mean other things, in this case it actually refers to the parent strain “High School Sweetheart.” GLP crossed High School Sweetheart with MAC Stomper to create High MAC.

The High MAC buds are tree and popcorn-shaped, with curled, forest-green, and purple leaves. They appear lime-green due to the insane amount of golden trichome hairs. These thick braids of sticky trichomes appear to outline the buds, while clumps of long fuzzy pistils can be found in abundance.

Heavy in trichome content, grinding the sticky High MAC buds will take considerable effort. The gassy odor intensifies while grinding the buds, also releasing strong hints of lemon and pine. The sour, lemon-citrus flavor leaves a funky diesel aftertaste.

More about Mac Strain

Users gave High MAC outstanding reviews in pain management and reduction in stress and physical tension. One user experienced relief from a migraine headache, while another reported relief from menstrual cramps. It is not surprising the dominant terpene is Beta-Myrcene, which is believed to act like a mild sedative. Despite most batches containing a moderate THC content, in the low twenties and high teens, the psychoactive euphoria is reportedly powerful and helped many users feel mentally energized. This led most users to believe initially, that High MAC is a Sativa, while in actuality it is a balanced hybrid.
